King Mohammed VI presided at the signing ceremony of the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline Project and the Moroccan-Nigerian fertilizer cooperation on Monday at the Royal Palace in Rabat. The Moroccan-Nigeria pipeline cooperation agreement was signed by Amina Benkhadra, General Director of the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines Board, and the CEO of the Nigerian National Oil Company, Maikanti Kacalla Baru. The agreement between OCP Group and FESPAN to strengthen fertilizer production and distribution capacity in Nigeria was signed by Mostafa Terrab (OCP) and Thomas Etuh (FESPAN).
The ceremony took place in the presence of the Head of Government, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the King’s Councilors, members of the government, a large Nigerian delegation, representatives of the Economic Community of States of West Africa (ECOWAS), members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Rabat, and several high-ranking officials.
