AmCham held its annual gala on Saturday, February 16th on the theme: “Miami” in celebration of the direct flight Casablanca-Miami to be launched by Royal Air Maroc on April 3rd. Miami becomes the third direct destination served by Royal Air Maroc in the United States after those of New York City and Washington DC.
Direct flights are a major milestone in bilateral relationships and a win-win for both countries. The Casablanca-Miami direct flight will definitely boost trade, investment, tourism as well as cultural exchanges between Morocco and the US.
Special guests from Miami included Commissioner José Diaz, Chairman of Miami Dade County Office of Economic Development & International Trade and Mr. Manny Gonzalez, Chief, Miami Dade County Office of Economic Development & International Trade.

The gala was also the occasion to present the AmCham-OCP Moroccan-American Trade and Investment Award 2019 and the Hall of Fame Award.
